MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, May 11
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I am going to spend up for pitching everywhere I can tonight. That includes overweight exposure on both Cole Ragans and Freddy Peralta — including DK builds with both of them. Obviously, that precludes a lot of lineups from having the expensive LAD and TEX bats in good spots, but that’s a trade off I am willing to make. Given the lack of scoring in MLB this year, I am prioritizing the good pitching over the good offense tonight, and I will take more chances with value bats.
Krayton: There are a lot of expensive pitching options tonight that are in great spots. However I really like the expensive bats tonight, starting with Texas in Coors Field and the Dodgers facing Matt Waldron. I have been paying down at pitching a ton this season, and it has worked more often than not. I will be looking to save at pitching with the extremely cheap Mason Black and guys like Triston McKenzie priced in the middle tier. The Rangers and Dodgers disappointed last night, but I will be very overweight on both teams.
tcsmith031: I have next to no interest in messing around with the Cardinals against Freddy Peralta or the Angels against Cole Ragans. However, I do think there are some sketchier pitchers projected to pull ownership tonight, namely Andrew Heaney (at COL) and Bryce Miller (vs. OAK). I’ll have a condensed pool of pitchers, and I’m happy to mix and match with the bats on this slate.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll have a really tight pitching pool tonight, focused primarily on Cole Ragans, Freddy Peralta, Bryce Miller, and Nick Lodolo. There are enough offenses on the slate that I feel confident one will be able to match the Dodgers or Rangers, while I don’t think the cheap pitching options have near the same upside as the expensive ones.
