Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 20 entries in the large-field contests. I plan to operate with a very narrow pitching pool, headlined by Tarik Skubal and Reid Detmers. My main stance on this slate is going to be rolling with the Rockies over the Mariners in the Coors Field game. I will be very much overweight on COL stacks and underweight on SEA stacks, even though both teams are projected to score a fair number of runs.
CheeseIsGood: I prefer smaller-field tournaments tonight so I don’t have to overthink it with the obvious top pitchers in Tarik Skubal and Reid Detmers. With the Mariners, Rockies, Dodgers, Yankees, and Nationals, there is more than enough offense to focus on the best plays while not landing on anything overly chalky in single-entry contests. I don’t think you have to fade Seattle for ownership as much as for salary, and the same thing kind of holds true for Rockies stacks on DK. When salary gets tight tonight, which it will, I favor spending up on the pitching.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll just be playing one lineup in single-entry contests, and I plan to fade the chalky Mariners and roll out their opponent, the Rockies. Bryce Miller has struggled immensely since his hot start to the season, so I want to target him with Colorado. I’ll likely eat the chalk from a pitching standpoint, rolling out Tarik Skubal and Reid Detmers.
