How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
stlcardinals84: I am going to be overweight in all formats on teams that have something to play for. With just two days left in the regular season, this really matters, especially given how opponents will approach their bullpen choices. The Braves, Mets, and Diamondbacks are teams that are all fighting for playoff spots, and they are facing opponents that all have playoff spots locked up. I don’t expect those opponents to give it their all in these last two games, and I plan to be overweight on all of these offenses.
Krayton: I will certainly be focused on the few teams that have playoff implications, but I am going to be taking a very overweight stance on the Dodgers in Coors Field. They are expensive, but they can easily break this slate wide open in just an inning or two. I will continue to lock in Shohei Ohtani, and I will also be paying down at pitcher, utilizing Emerson Hancock, Joey Estes, and Zebby Matthews.
tcsmith031: I’m biting the bullet and paying down at pitcher in tournaments. None of the more expensive arms are in great spots, and there are plenty of bats worth paying up for. The majority of my exposure will be focused on guys like Griffin Canning, Joey Estes, Emerson Hancock, and Andrew Heaney.
TJ Zwarych: The Dodgers are the clear top option on the board, and despite their insane price tags, they’re actually not that tough to get to. My most expensive pitcher will be Yoshinobu Yamamoto, but my main focus will be Emerson Hancock, Zebby Matthews, and Griffin Canning so that I can afford the expensive bats.
