MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, June 9

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Alex Sonty: Andre Pallante will be in all three of my DK lineups and at least one of my three lineups on FD. I’m also just as high on the Pirates as I am the Braves and Red Sox. The Pirates plus Pallante should afford me the opportunity to play whomever I want.

Krayton: I will be using quite a bit of Andre Pallante as my SP2 on DK today and will also be utilizing him on FD in some GPP lineups. He is cheap and facing the Rockies, which allows you to get the top bats on the slate today. Baltimore is a stack I will be overweight the field on, as they aren’t carrying much ownership, and they are an elite offense with the top team ISO in MLB.

tcsmith031: I’ll have a fairly tight pitching pool today, even on DraftKings. Cole Ragans and Tarik Skubal are clear building blocks, while I’ll mix in some Nathan Eovaldi and Chris Flexen in lineups that need a bit more salary for bats. Focusing on a handful of pitchers makes it easier to spread my stack exposure, which is useful on a slate with quite a few offenses in attractive matchups.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be keeping a tight pitching pool, with Cole Ragans as my first choice at SP1, and I’ll be underweight on Tarik Skubal so that I can also get some pieces of Jared Jones. For my SP2, I like the idea of going cheap with Andre Pallante or (gulp) even the super-cheap Chris Flexen.

Who is your top overall pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
