Who is your favorite sneaky stack on the board and why?

headChopper: Mariners – This is just a process of elimination on a small slate. The Reds, Braves, and Rays are all drawing big projected ownership numbers, according to the RotoGrinders Stack Tool. What remains is Texas vs. George Kirby—no thanks; Yankees—they’re okay; and Seattle vs. Kumar Rocker—yes, please.

Dean78904: Rangers – I don’t feel obligated to abide by traditional stack rules on tiny slates. That said, I’m open to getting to Texas minis—especially if the early TB/NYY game did not break my way. I’ll likely have George Kirby rostered, but I’m not afraid to have a lefty or two against him in the same lineup, most notably Corey Seager. Kirby has been vulnerable to lefties, as he has a .182 ISO / .321 wOBA dating back to last season. I don’t make enough lineups where I’ll get to a full Texas stack, but I can’t just X them out with the slate being so small.

ebeimfohr: Mariners – Seattle is the best combination of ownership, talent, and matchup on this slate. They draw Kumar Rocker who, while talented, has been mediocre in his first real big league season. He’s allowed a .340 xwOBA to righties and a .394 xwOBA to lefties, where the strikeouts also dip down to just 16%. The Mariners have upgraded their lineup significantly at the deadline, and they have several powerful bats—especially from the left side—to target in tournaments.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
