MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, June 2

Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

CheeseIsGood: Bobby Witt Jr.
headChopper: Bobby Witt Jr.
stevietpfl: Brandon Lowe
Dean78904: Bobby Witt Jr.

Who is your favorite sneaky stack on the board and why?

CheeseIsGood: A’s – If this game were being played in their home ballpark or in better hitting conditions in Wrigley Field, the A’s would be chalk against Jameson Taillon. When I look at the power in this lineup, I really don’t think they are going to care one little iota about wind that’s 10 mph. This season, Taillon has allowed a .336 ISO on 16% barrels to lefties and a .227 ISO on 13.8% barrels to righties, with below-average strikeouts to both sides. The A’s have 6 batters above a .180 ISO and 8% barrels against RHP, and it’s a lineup with a great mix of contact and patience to go along with all of that power. They can score plenty of runs even if the wind were to knock down a fly ball or two, but I am still playing for the power here. Nick Kurtz is the primary bat, and, depending on how much salary I have available, I’ll follow him with Shea Langeliers, Tyler Soderstrom, Brent Rooker, Carlos Cortes, and Zack Gelof.

headChopper: Astros – They just saw Jacob Misiorowski on Sunday, so the 98-mph fastball from Bubba Chandler should seem like a beach ball coming to the plate. No matter how many injuries they have or who is in the lineup, they still put up strong numbers as long as Yordan Alvarez is hitting well. Chandler has a bright future, but the numbers this season in some of his underlying metrics leave a lot to be desired.

stevietpfl: Pirates – Early pOWN% has the Royals, Dodgers, Yankees, and Reds as the top 4 highest-owned stacks on this slate. The Pirates and the Reds are my two favorite offenses on this slate. On SimLabs, the Pirates project as one of the best leverage stacks on the slate. I want to take advantage of these lefties against Mike Burrows. Spencer Horwitz, Brandon Lowe, and Oneil Cruz would be my favorite hitters to build around.

Dean78904: White Sox – Rookie SP Connor Prielipp had a solid start to his career, but he has been hammered in back-to-back starts (one of which was vs. the White Sox). Maybe this is just a blip, or maybe the league is figuring him out. What I’m more excited about is picking on what has been the worst bullpen in baseball, as the current Twins pen is dead last in both xFIP and SIERA this season. Officially, I only make a few lineups, so I likely won’t fully stack the White Sox, as I’m more likely to use them as a mini stack. If nothing else, Miguel Vargas looks like a spectacular one-off, as he has smashed RHP (.410 ISO / .500 wOBA) this season. Beyond Vargas, next up is Colson Montgomery, who has hit LHP hard (.266 ISO / .357 wOBA) despite the lefty-lefty matchup, and then there is Randal Grichuk, who has the power to give you a cheap dinger but is also vulnerable to a pinch-hit hook once Prielipp exits.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
