MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, September 10
Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?
CheeseIsGood: Jose Ramirez
Dean78904: Jose Ramirez
Stevietpfl: Jose Ramirez
Alex Sonty: Bobby Witt
Who is your favorite hitter (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
CheeseIsGood: Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor – Like with pitching, I am just going to start with the best plays and not overthink the ownership. Jonathan Cannon is down at a 14.2% K rate with a .225 ISO allowed to lefties, and I see no way he can get the ball by Ramirez and Naylor with their elite contact and power. Add in a nonsense bullpen, and Cleveland has multiple paths to a breakout game.
Dean78904: Jose Ramirez – Just because it’s obvious doesn’t mean it isn’t true. J-Ram is the best player with the highest team total. The Guardians are locked in for 9 innings of ABs vs. Jonathan Cannon (4.86 SIERA) and whatever nonsense comes out of the White Sox bullpen (at least bottom 3 in SIERA, xFIP, BB%, and HR/9). Ramirez will be popular, and hitter variance is wide, but no player looks better pre-flop than Ramirez.

Stevietpfl: Matt Wallner – The Twins are one of my favorite stacks on the slate. Canning has a 17.4% strikeout rate with a .199 ISO and a .353 wOBA against left-handed hitters this season. With Wallner back in this lineup, they have even more upside. He has a .315 ISO with a .416 wOBA against right-handed pitching. He also has a 68.7% hard-hit rate with a 21.7% barrel rate in those at-bats.
Alex Sonty: Aaron Judge – Seth Lugo isn’t a guy we wanna pick on, but his reverse splits are too much to ignore. Lugo’s allowed a 10.8% barrel rate to right-handed batters, while Judge is crushing RHP for a 25.4% barrel rate on a 69.1% hard-hit rate and 38.2% fly-ball rate. Lugo’s ballpark downgrade for Kauffman to Yankee Stadium should turn out poorly against Judge, who is carrying a ~5% pOWN%.
