Who is your favorite hitter to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: With a limited number of games, I’m going to focus on 3-entry-max contests. I feel like I can cover everything I like in those lineups. I’ll be overweight on Cleveland and Tampa. I’ll be underweight on the Yankees and Rangers. For pitching, I like the pOWN% for Patrick Corbin. I feel like most pitchers in that range are the same, and I like his upside.

stlcardinals84: I am going to play around 5 entries in large-field tournaments tonight. I am taking a stand on Texas as the stack I am most overweight on. Despite their struggles this season, I will opt for their righty-heavy lineup approach against a pitcher who struggles with righty power in JP Sears. I am also taking a hard stance on Slade Cecconi over Taj Bradley as my cheaper pitcher of choice.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I plan to fade the two chalky pitchers in tournaments. While I think Jesus Luzardo and Taj Bradley are the clear cash-game pairing, I’ll be hitting the X button and fully fading them both in tournaments and spreading out my stacks.
