What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on small-field tournaments. I’ll look to put 3 to 5 teams in those contests. For the second straight day, we have a lack of pitching options with a lot of stacks. I’ll narrow down my pitching pool to 3 to 4 guys and focus on the stacks. With this larger slate, I want to focus on 4-man stacks on FD and 5-man stacks on DK.

stlcardinals84: I will be playing 20 entries in the large-field tournaments. I am going to go with a very narrow pitching pool, possibly consisting of only four options. Chris Sale and Nick Pivetta are the clear plays at the top. I like Clarke Schmidt in the mid-range, and Cade Povich is an interesting risk/reward punt on DraftKings, where he’s all the way down at $5,700. That will allow me to spread out my stack exposure a bit, but I really like the Twins and Yankees as the top squads.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There are some expensive stacks that I really like on this slate, so I’ll try to play some cheap pitchers and lean into paying up for bats. It’s hard not to love the MIN/ATH game, given the middling pitching and elite ballpark, but there are a few other stacks I really like as well, including the Dodgers and Braves.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll play 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I’m debating hitting the lock button on Chris Sale, despite the tough matchup. I really don’t like any of the other pitchers on the slate, especially considering Nick Pivetta is more expensive than Sale on both sites. I’ll mix-and-match other cheap pitchers in my lineups, like Cade Povich and maybe Sawyer Gipson-Long on DK, while mixing-and-matching my stacks with my tight pitching pool.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
