What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: Small-field, single-entry tournaments is where I prefer to play today. The best way I see to get different is by pairing one chalk pitcher with one lesser-pOWN% arm. Garrett Crochet and Jameson Taillon will likely be the most popular combo, so I’m leaning toward Crochet or Jacob deGrom paired with someone other than Taillon in GPPs. I still want to build around a 4-man or 5-man stack, and the remaining offensive spots will be filled with one-offs to round out the lineup.

ebeimfohr: I love the offenses on this slate who are projecting for lower ownership, which makes smaller-field, single-entry tournaments extremely appealing. The pitching pool is not overly ripe with playable options, so pivoting to the bats and stacks with lower pOWN% creates a nice differentiator in smaller fields.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and because there are enough cheap bats to make it work, I’ll be spending up at both pitcher spots a lot. I’ll make sure to have at least one of Jacob deGrom and Garrett Crochet in every single lineup, while trying to get overweight on Kevin Gausman and Clay Holmes as well.

Who is your favorite pitcher (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
