Million Dollar Musings: MLB DFS Picks Today for Friday 4/10

Whether you are looking for the top pitchers or the best stacks, Dave Potts (aka CheeseIsGood) has you covered with an extensive deep dive into his MLB DFS picks today. Cheese, one of the preeminent baseball minds in all of fantasy sports and a winner of a $1,000,000 1st-place prize on both DraftKings and FanDuel, is here to give you his musings on the April 10, 2026 MLB DFS slate.
Happy Friday! We have a big 11-game slate that is massively tilted toward the hitting side. Pitching is extremely dicey after one ace up top, while I find at least a dozen teams with clear slate-breaking upside. I’ll do my best to find some favorites, but this has the feel of throwing some good-looking darts at a good-looking dart board and hoping you hit more bullseyes than your opponents.
Friday Pitching: MLB DFS Picks on FanDuel & DraftKings

We have a pretty weak pitching slate, as most teams are getting back down towards the end of their rotation. Other than Tyler Glasnow up top, no one feels like they have a can’t-miss ceiling, but even with this weaker group, the pricing is about the same as it’s been on slates where we are loaded with aces. It might be worth considering a couple of the sub-$7,000 nonsense darts because of the overall lack of quality, but at the same time, we’re really not being asked to pay all that much for anyone outside of Glasnow. I’m going to include everyone from $7,500 and up on DK in the top tier, with everyone in that group besides Glasnow being priced within $1,500.
TOP TIER PITCHING
- Tyler Glasnow vs. Rangers – 29% K, 11.7% BB, 3.19 ERA, 3.88 SIERA
- Kris Bubic vs. White Sox – 24.4% K, 8.2% BB, 2.55 ERA, 3.85 SIERA
- Clay Holmes vs. A’s – 18.2% K, 9.3% BB, 3.53 ERA, 4.43 SIERA
- Shane Baz vs. Giants – 24.8% K, 9% BB, 4.87 ERA, 3.95 SIERA
- Landen Roupp at Orioles – 21.4% K, 9.5% BB, 3.80 ERA, 4.36 SIERA
- Chad Patrick vs. Nationals – 25.2% K, 8% BB, 3.53 ERA, 3.90 SIERA
- Tatsuya Imai at Mariners – 3rd career start
- Bryce Elder vs. Guardians – 19.3% K, 7.5% BB, 5.30 ERA, 4.29 SIERA
- Connelly Early at Cardinals – 6 career starts (32.8% K, 8.4% BB)
Unless you want to count the small sample size for Connelly Early, Tyler Glasnow is the only pitcher here with any real long-term strikeout ceiling. He has come out of the gate strong, with a 15:3 K:BB ratio, putting him clearly at the top of the board. He also threw 101 pitches in his most recent start after 90 in his first start – an encouraging sign that the Dodgers will give him some leeway this season. At the same time, as shown by last season’s walk rate and a glance at his past game logs, Glasnow has not been a model of consistency. As the most-expensive and likely highest-owned pitcher on both sites, this makes me a little hesitant to just lock him in everywhere. I am calling him the SP1, but let’s wait and see if we find enough to like below him to consider an underweight approach.
