MLB DFS Picks: Top Stacks for Wednesday, June 11th
Opto% Stack
San Francisco Giants at Colorado Rockies (Kyle Freeland)
The Giants stand out as a premier MLB DFS stack on tonight’s main slate, ranking 1st in Opto%, 1st in stack rating, and 2nd in Value%. With a robust implied run total of 5.89, they’re in a prime position against Kyle Freeland, who continues to struggle mightily at Coors Field (7.71 ERA this season). While Freeland’s control plays better on the road, the thin air of Denver neutralizes his strengths, making him extremely vulnerable.
Although the Giants’ lineup thins out a bit after Heliot Ramos and Wilmer Flores (both of whom are strong options against LHP), Casey Schmitt adds appeal to the stack with a .239 ISO and 15% barrel rate vs. LHP since the start of last season. The rest of the order may be more of a mix-and-match depending on what your lineup needs, but all 9 hitters are viable within stacks. Even with some pinch-hit risk for names like Christian Koss and Jerar Encarnacion, the combination of park factor, Freeland’s splits, and the projections make this a high-ceiling spot.
Ownership will be high, but the upside justifies aggressive exposure, especially in large-field tournament formats. Ramos, Flores, and Schmitt are the core plays, but full stacks remain very much in play.

Value% Stack
Texas Rangers at Minnesota Twins (David Festa)
The Rangers profile as a strong MLB DFS stack, even with a modest 3.9 implied run total. They rank 5th in Opto%, 2nd in stack rating, and 4th in Value%, which highlights their upside in large-field tournaments. While the matchup against the high-strikeout David Festa and a quality Twins bullpen presents challenges, the Rangers showed last night that their power can break a slate in any matchup.
With Festa likely to rack up Ks but also potentially struggle with command and/or give up hard contact, the Rangers have the volatility we want in tournaments. Josh Smith and Wyatt Langford stand out as strong individual options within stacks—both bring pop and upside at appealing price points. Chasing a repeat of last night’s explosion might be a longshot, but given the projections and tournament leverage, it’s a gamble worth considering.
