Arms To Trust
Dallas Keuchel vs. Kansas City Royals
Keuchel faced this team in his last start and, quite frankly, that type of outing is exactly what we should expect again. He was only able to make it six innings and picked up just five strikeouts. That being said, he only gave up six hits and no runs while walking just one batter. The end result was 43 FD points (picked up both bonuses) and 23.3 DK/FDRFT points.
This year more than ever, we are really just banking on Keuchel’s batted ball profile to work innings and pick up outs. His 18.2% K% is the lowest it has been since 2014. The last three years he has at least been hovering around average to above average strikeouts; not so much this year. That being said, the control is as good as it has ever been (5.9% BB%), and he is still inducing a ton of ground balls (55.6% GB%).
