Zack Godley vs. San Diego Padres
Your cash game SP1 on the night slate is pretty straightforward, as Godley gets the matchup we all love for RHP against the Padres.
In case you have been living under a rock all season (or are playing MLB DFS for the first time in an attempt to build up a bankroll for NFL), it doesn’t get much better than this matchup for righties. In this split in 2018, the Padres rank third to last in wRC+ (81), dead last in wOBA (.287), and second to last in ISO (.131). Oooooh and they just so happen to strike out the most in this split as well at 25.8%. It is the nut matchup for RHP, plain and simple.
Godley himself has seen a surge in his K% as the season has progressed, bringing him up to 24% on the season. That trails only Jacob deGrom on this small five-game slate, who comes in at 31.5%.
