Zack Greinke vs. St. Louis Cardinals
We have a weird slate tonight in that we have 12 games but, outside of a pitch-counted-Kershaw, we don’t have a true ace on it. Greinke is the closest thing we have to one. Since there isn’t an exact definition of “ace”, I don’t know if he is classified as one. Also, it has no relevance to what I am trying to accomplish here, so I might as well shut up about it.
Similar to what he did last year, Greinke has upped his strikeout game. His K% this season currently sits at 25.7%, which is the fifth highest of anyone on the slate. He adds with it borderline elite control (4.5% BB%), which makes his weaknesses a little easier to stomach.
