Arms To Trust
Corey Kluber at Milwaukee Brewers
A combination of his own awesomeness, a high-upside-strikeout matchup, and a positive league shift makes Kluber the top option on this huge slate in my eyes.
We should discuss right away the elephant in the room though, and that is his ‘only’ 27.5% K% through seven starts this season. We facetiously say ‘only’ because it was 34.1% in 2017 overall and a massive 36.2% after June 1st (after a month long DL stint). It does appear that 2017 was some sort of outlier considering the strikeout rates the three prior years (26.4%, 27.7%, and 28.3%) look very similar to what we are seeing this year.
