Arms To Trust

Corey Kluber vs. Miami Marlins

Yeah, ummmm, I’d say we have some pitching options to choose from tonight folks! With all of these studs to pick from, it is Kluber whom I think is the most trustworthy.

It might take a little nudging to get there after looking at his most recent start. The Rays put a hurtin’ on him, touching him up for four runs and loading the bases before Kluber got removed and the bullpen saved him from a more disastrous line. He certainly didn’t do himself any favors against the 12 batters he faced by allowing 50% hard contact, but an .800 BABIP is LOL worthy. The velocity was fine, so I’m chalking it up to just one of those starts.

The track record on this guy is as real as it gets. Sure, it’s disappointing we don’t see “striking out 34% of batters Kluber” like we saw last season. But this 2018 line…
