What kind of performances can we expect from Luis Gil, Tyler Glasnow, and Kyle Tucker? Follow along as our MLB betting analyst, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite MLB prop bets for Friday, April 10, 2026. Major League Baseball started their weekend early, with a 2:20 PM ET first pitch at Wrigley Field earlier this afternoon. Still, there are 14 games left on tap, giving bettors plenty of options to consider adding to their card.
The MLB weather report looks better today than it did earlier this week, but there are still some colder forecasts on the slate in Detroit, New York, and Kansas City. As always, keep an eye on wind and temperature before committing to any wagers.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Friday, April 10th!
Best MLB Player Props for Friday, April 10th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled tonight for 6:40 PM ET on Friday, April 10th:
- Luis Gil Over/Under 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed
- Tyler Glasnow Over/Under 17.5 Outs Recorded
- Kyle Tucker Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Luis Gil OVER 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-162, Caesars)
Gil made 1 start in Triple-A prior to being recalled by the Yankees. He allowed 3 earned runs and 4 walks in 4.2 innings of work. Following a lat strain in 2025, Gil nearly walked as many batters as he struck out across 11 starts.
The Rays are inexplicably only starting 4 lefties, but this is still a spot in which Gil could allow a pair of earned runs. Even in a good outing, it’s not unreasonable to think Gil could allow 2 earned runs across 5 or 6 innings of work. It’s also entirely possible that tonight ends up going considerably worse, given Gil’s recent body of work we have to analyze.
Tyler Glasnow OVER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-125, DraftKings)
Glasnow isn’t the most efficient pitcher in baseball. He averaged 4.1 pitches per batter faced last season and is at 4.1 pitches per batter faced through 2 starts this season. That said, manager Dave Roberts has been vocal about not wanting to prematurely go to the bullpen this regular season.
We saw Yoshinobu Yamamoto come out for the 7th inning earlier this week despite being around 90 pitches. Shohei Ohtani threw 96 pitches on Wednesday.
Texas ranks 5th in swing% and is around the league average in pitches seen per plate appearance this season. If Glasnow is reasonably effective, he should have a chance to get 18 outs.
Kyle Tucker OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-130, BetMGM)
Tucker didn’t cash this play on Wednesday, but he was on base 3 times and found his way into scoring position. He simply didn’t get any help from his teammates.
Tonight, he draws a favorable matchup against Kumar Rocker, who struggled to a 5.51 FIP and 1.77 WHIP across the platoon last season. Rocker is leading more with his slider against lefties early this season, but he’s still throwing a sinker 24.4% of the time in such situations, which is predictably not leading to good results.
Ohtani and Tucker should be able to make some noise at the top of the Dodgers lineup.
