Tuesday’s MLB slate features 15 games, beginning at 6:40 pm ET. There are a number of notable names scheduled to be on the bump, including Logan Webb, Paul Skenes, Gavin Williams, Gerrit Cole, and Jesus Luzardo.

Similar to yesterday, warm weather and hitter-friendly winds could lead to a fun night of offense around the league. As always, it’s important to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers.

Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Tuesday, September 1st!

Best MLB Player Props for Tuesday, September 1st

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Tuesday, September 1st:

Bryan Woo OVER 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-165, BetMGM)

Woo has been pitching through injury for a while, which is likely leading to some of the poor results we have seen from him in recent weeks. Since the All-Star Break, he’s struggled to a 5.06 ERA and 4.47 xERA. He’s allowed a lot of quality contact in the air during that stretch.

The weather in Boston tonight should favor pitching, but this is still a low number for a pitcher who has allowed 5+ earned runs in 3 of his last 6 turns through the rotation. The Red Sox rank 7th in wRC+ against RHP during the last 14 days, and they lead baseball in wRC+ against RHP during the last 30 days. They should be able to get to Woo for at least a couple of runs.

Matthew Boyd UNDER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-122, Novig)

Boyd often has a very long leash on the mound, which has allowed him to complete 6+ innings in 9 of his last 10 starts. That said, this is one of the tougher matchups he has faced this season to date.

Milwaukee has been a top-10 offense against southpaws during the last 14 days. They have also seen the 2nd-most pitches per plate appearance against LHP in that span.

The Cubs have a rested arm barn heading into tonight’s NL Central matchup against the Brewers. We could see manager Craig Counsell being more aggressive with his reliever usage than he would be in a different context. There is value on the under.

Kyle Bradish OVER 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-144, Novig)

Bradish struggled to a 5.28 ERA and 7.70 xERA across the platoon in August. He allowed an 8% barrel rate and 46% hard-hit rate in that span.

Tonight, the Rockies are likely to have at least 6 LHBs in their lineup against Bradish. This could also be a spot where Bradish has a slightly longer leash considering how heavily Baltimore has used their arm barn in recent days.

Colorado isn’t an overpowering offense, but they have enough firepower to get a few runs off of Bradish on Tuesday.
