Wednesday’s 15-game MLB slate began earlier this afternoon, but there are still 12 games left to get underway as of this writing. There are some notable starting pitchers scheduled to be on the bump too, with Shohei Ohtani, Dylan Cease, and Jesus Luzardo giving fans plenty of exciting matchups to watch.
As always, be sure to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before locking in any wagers. We have temperatures forecast near 90 degrees in Philadelphia , New York, and Atlanta tonight, which could be a major boon for offense in those games.
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Wednesday, April 15th!
Best MLB Player Props for Wednesday, April 15th
Here are my top player prop bets, with the first pitch tonight scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Wednesday, April 15th:
- Oneil Cruz Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Yandy Diaz Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Kyle Tucker Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Oneil Cruz OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-175, BetMGM)
Cruz is off to a blistering start to the 2026 campaign, with a 173 wRC+ through his first 17 games. He draws a favorable matchup against Jake Irvin, who struggled to a 6.41 FIP and 1.52 WHIP across the platoon last season. Cruz’s position in the leadoff spot increases the possibility that he could see a 5th plate appearance too, which further enhances the value of this play.
Yandy Diaz OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-140, Fanatics)
Diaz continues to be one of the most underrated hitters in baseball. Through 16 games this season, he owns a tremendous 188 wRC+. Tonight, he will get to face Sean Burke, who owns a career 4.66 xERA across 168.1 innings at the MLB level. Burke doesn’t miss many bats, and Diaz doesn’t strike out much, which means we have a greater possibility of some good luck on balls in play in this spot as well.
Kyle Tucker OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-114, DraftKings)
Tucker came through for us last night, just like he has many times already this season. His continued presence in the 2-hole makes this play great value on a daily basis. Tucker is capable of clearing this number by himself with a couple of base knocks, but his ability to draw walks and put the ball in play means he can also benefit from the talent around him in the Dodgers lineup. He should have plenty of opportunities once again tonight against Clay Holmes.
