As always, make sure to keep an eye on the MLB weather report before committing to any wagers. The forecast is on the hitter-friendly side in many ballparks around the league, which could make for an exciting night of action!
Below, you can find three of my favorite picks for Wednesday, June 3rd!
Best MLB Player Props for Wednesday, June 3rd
Here are my top player prop bets, with the first pitch tonight scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Wednesday, June 3rd:
- Shohei Ohtani Over/Under 17.5 Outs Recorded
- Miguel Andujar Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
- Taylor Ward Over/Under 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Shohei Ohtani OVER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-167, DraftKings)
Ohtani has completed 6 innings in 8 of his 9 starts to begin this season. Manager Dave Roberts has been vocal about trying to minimize his bullpen usage over the course of 162 games, hoping to keep his relief corps in better shape for a playoff run in October.
Arizona has been working deeper counts of late, but this is still a playable price for Ohtani to record 18+ outs, especially after the Dodgers used 5 relievers yesterday.
Miguel Andujar OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-104, DraftKings)
Andujar hasn’t been great against LHP early this season, but he had a 171 wRC+ against them in the 2025 season. This is simply a bet on some positive regression over a larger sample size. Cristopher Sanchez is one of the best pitchers in the game, but the weather should be on the hitter-friendly side, and Andujar is in an advantageous spot in the lineup, batting in the 2-hole. This is decent value.
Taylor Ward OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-105, DraftKings)
Ward has apparently been seeing LHP well this season, posting a 123 wRC+ entering play, and he’s walked more than he’s struck out in this split. The weather is on the hitter-friendly side in Boston this evening too, which is a further boost to his offensive potential. This is good value for Ward, who is in the leadoff spot, directly ahead of a couple of talented hitters.
