MLB Player Props Today

Bryson Stott u0.5 Strikeouts (-135), DraftKings

Entering play on Tuesday, Bryson Stott has struck out in only 17.2% of his plate appearances against right-handed pitching this year. Overall, Stott ranks in the 86th percentile in strikeout rate among qualified hitters. Tonight, he gets an extremely favorable matchup against Julio Teheran, who has struck out only 18.5% of the left-handed hitters he has faced in 2023. Trust Stott to put the ball in play each time he steps in the box this evening.

Masataka Yoshida u0.5 Strikeouts (-115), DraftKings

Few players in baseball have the hit tools that Masataka Yoshida possesses. Ahead of first pitch tonight, Yoshida ranks in the 98th percentile in strikeout percentage and the 91st percentile in whiff rate. Even after striking out in each of his last three contests, Yoshida has an impressive 11.3% strikeout rate for the entire season. Yoshida has not struck out in four consecutive games at any point during his rookie campaign, and tonight, he has a great chance to keep that streak alive against Luis Medina, who has punched-out only 18.4% of the left-handed batters he has faced this year. Expect Yoshida to get the job done for us here.

MLB DFS Pick’em

Jose Ramirez less than 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts, PrizePicks

Through his first 90 games of the season, Jose Ramirez has struck out in only 9.9% of his total plate appearances. Facing right-handed pitching, he has been even more high-contact, striking out in only 8.6% of his plate appearances. Tonight, he faces Mitch Keller, who has generated a single-digit swinging-strike rate in each of his last seven turns through the rotation. This is another good spot for Ramirez to avoid going down on strikes.
