Happy Halloween! This evening, the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks will play Game 4 of this year’s World Series from Chase Field. Texas has won two of the first three games of this series, but will have their work cut out for them tonight, forced to deploy a bullpen game after Max Scherzer prematurely exited yesterday’s contest. The first pitch between these two clubs on Tuesday is set for 8:03 p.m. ET on FOX.

We are 27-16 (62.8%) across our last 43 postseason player prop recommendations, not counting a pair of longshot stolen base stabs to end the National League Championship Series! During the regular season, we went 103-63-6 (62.6%) across our last 172 recommendations in this article. We were 120-59 (67.2%) on pitcher prop recommendations for the entire regular season.

Below are three prop leans for October 31!

MLB Player Props Today

Andrew Heaney u9.5 Outs Recorded (-145), DraftKings

It would be truly shocking to see Andrew Heaney record more than 9 outs tonight. Nothing is ever a lock, but Heaney pitched on Saturday, meaning that he has only had two days of rest between appearances. Obviously, that is nowhere near enough recovery time to be prepped for a traditional starter’s workload. Heaney also has not thrown more than 22 pitches since October 7, and no more than 56 pitches in over a month. Though Heaney only threw six pitches on Saturday, he still had to get himself “hot,” meaning that he likely threw at least 20-30 pitches in the bullpen, in addition to any plyocare work that he did prior to entering the game. If Heaney can give Texas 40 pitches and get through the Arizona lineup once tonight, that would be a huge win for Manager Bruce Bochy. Anything more than that is unlikely.

Andrew Heaney u3.5 Hits Allowed (-165), DraftKings

Andrew Heaney has allowed a total of seven hits in 6.0 innings of work this postseason, and only once in his four appearances has he allowed more than two hits. Tonight, he is expected to have a slightly longer leash than his last couple of outings, but it’s still unlikely that he will last long enough in this game to allow four hits. In the American League Championship Series, Heaney had as poor of a start to the game as was possible, and he was still only left on the mound long enough to allow four hits to seven batters. Heaney has a more favorable matchup this time around against the weak-hitting Diamondbacks, which should help him limit the damage during the opening frames.

MLB DFS Pick’em

Ketel Marte More Than 1.5 Total Bases, PrizePicks

Ketel Marte has recorded at least one base knock in each of his games played during this year’s playoffs, meaning that he has been consistently competitive at this market number. However, he has not recorded an extra-base hit in either of the last two games. Tonight, he will have a great opportunity to end that mini-slump (if it can be called that), with Texas forced to use a bullpen game. The Rangers have an extremely weak collection of middle relievers, which bodes well for Marte and his chances of hitting the ball hard in the gap somewhere on Tuesday.
