MLB Player Props Today

Bryson Stott u0.5 Strikeouts (-130), DraftKings

Bryson Stott has been very kind to our wallets this year when we have trusted him with our money. Following another sweep on Tuesday, everyone has earned the right to be trusted again on Wednesday. Stott has a good matchup this afternoon against Colin Rea, who has struggled to a 6.30 FIP and a 1.44 WHIP against left-handed batters in 2023. Stott ranks in the 86th percentile in strikeout rate among qualified hitters this year and has a chance to improve upon that number today. This is good value on a high-contact hitter facing a low-strikeout pitcher.

Masataka Yoshida u0.5 Strikeouts (+115), DraftKings

Masataka Yoshida has been a cash cow for us in this market in 2023. Coming off of back-to-back sweeps in this article, we are simply running things back with him again on Wednesday in another favorable matchup. Prior to yesterday’s action, Yoshida had struck out in a season-high three consecutive contests. After an impressive 2-for-4 day at the plate on Tuesday, he gets another quality matchup against the struggling Ken Waldichuk, who owns an abysmal 7.45 FIP and a 2.08 WHIP against left-handed batters this year. Yoshida is one of the most mature hitters in baseball – have faith in him here for the second day in a row.

MLB DFS Pick’em

Jose Ramirez less than 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts, PrizePicks

We have successfully targeted Jose Ramirez in this market a couple of times in the last week, giving us the confidence to run things back again on Wednesday. Ahead of first pitch this afternoon, Ramirez has struck out in only 12.8% of the plate appearances he has had against left-handed pitching in 2023. Rich Hill has struck out only 20.5% of right-handed batters he has faced, and ranks in the 30th percentile overall in strikeout percentage among qualified pitchers. Trust Ramirez to get the job done for us once again in a favorable matchup.
