Happy Thursday! Today’s 9-game MLB slate features 8 afternoon contests, which means that bettors will have to get some action placed earlier than usual if they want to have the most possible options available to them. The only night game today features the Braves against the Mets from Citi Field, scheduled for a 7:10 p.m. ET first pitch on MLB Network.

As always, be sure to monitor our MLB starting lineups page throughout the day, as unexpected changes in the batting order can result in value opportunities in the betting and DFS markets.

Another reminder – it’s not a bad beat, or unlucky, if you bet a player to hit a home run and his fly ball dies on the warning track because it’s 40 degrees with the wind blowing in! Before locking in any bets, use our MLB weather page, curated by Chief Meteorologist, Kevin Roth. There are countless edges to be found if we make the right reads on possible rain delays and great hitting weather, just to name a few. Taking a look at the weather report can save us from a bad bet that otherwise looks good on the surface.

Below, you can find my 3 picks for Thursday, June 26th!

Best MLB Player Props for Thursday, June 26th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:10 PM ET on Thursday, June 26th:

Jose Ramirez OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125, BetMGM)

This season, Kevin Gausman has struggled to a 4.62 FIP against lefties. Compared to his numbers against righties, Gausman is missing fewer bats and issuing more walks across the platoon, which means more opportunities for Ramirez to benefit from good luck on balls in play, in addition to a higher likelihood of reaching base via a walk. Gausman has also been susceptible to the long ball against lefties in 2025, which means Ramirez might be able to take care of this line by himself with one swing today. Ramirez has been at his best against southpaws this year, but a 142 wRC+ against RHP is still plenty dangerous, which means this is good value at the current price.

Vladimir Guerrero OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125, DraftKings)

Guerrero has been at his best against southpaws this season, but he still owns a 129 wRC+ against RHP, and he draws a favorable matchup today against Tanner Bibee. Bibee hasn’t been terrible in same-sided matchups in 2025, but a sub-20% strikeout rate and a FIP north of 4.00 certainly isn’t ace-like. At a minimum, Guerrero should have the ability to put a few balls in play today. If he enjoys any amount of luck on such balls in play, or if he has the opportunity to hit with a runner in scoring position, that could be enough to cash this wager.

Juan Soto OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-120, DraftKings)

From a math perspective, this line simply doesn’t make much sense. Soto is one of the most productive hitters in all of baseball, and he will get to face Grant Holmes, who has struggled across the platoon in 2025. Soto has the power potential to take care of this bet in one swing on any given day. He also has incredible patience at the plate, which helps him get on base at a high rate. There are a number of ways in which he could accumulate a couple of counting statistics in this spot.
