Happy Tuesday! MLB fans have a full 15-game slate on tap for this evening, which means plenty of opportunities to find a few bets to their liking.
As always, be sure to monitor our MLB starting lineups page throughout the day, as unexpected changes in the batting order can result in value opportunities in the betting and DFS markets.
Another reminder – it’s not a bad beat, or unlucky, if you bet a player to hit a home run and his fly ball dies on the warning track because it’s 40 degrees with the wind blowing in! Before locking in any bets, use our MLB weather page, curated by Chief Meteorologist, Kevin Roth. There are countless edges to be found if we make the right reads on possible rain delays and great hitting weather, just to name a few. Taking a look at the weather report can save us from a bad bet that otherwise looks good on the surface.

Best MLB Player Props for Tuesday, April 15th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:40 PM ET on Tuesday, April 15th:
- Nick Lodolo Over/Under 17.5 Outs Recorded
- Max Fried Over/Under 1.5 Earned Runs
- Charlie Morton Over/Under 1.5 Earned Runs
Nick Lodolo OVER 17.5 Outs Recorded (-110, DraftKings)
Lodolo has been extremely efficient in 2025, completing 6 innings in each of his first 3 outings. Importantly, he’s faced at least 23 batters in each of those starts, indicating that he has consistently worked into the opposing team’s lineup for a third time. Tonight, he draws a favorable matchup against a Seattle offense that has struggled against southpaws in April. Lodolo should have an opportunity to record 18 outs once again.
Max Fried OVER 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-160, DraftKings)
Ahead of first pitch on Tuesday, the Yankees’ arm barn is in rough shape, having used Devin Williams, Luke Weaver, Mark Leiter, Fernando Cruz, and Tim Hill each 2 of the last 3 days. The consequence of that usage is that the Yankees don’t have any trusted high-leverage arms rested for this game, so Fried should have a long leash. The winds are blowing out in The Bronx as well, which means it might only take a bloop and a blast for Fried to allow a pair of earned runs.
Charlie Morton OVER 1.5 Earned Runs (-140, DraftKings)
Through 3 turns in the rotation this season, Morton owns an 8.78 ERA, 6.19 xERA, 5.43 FIP, and 1.88 WHIP. He draws a relatively favorable matchup against the Guardians, but this is still a playable number for a pitcher who has allowed 4+ earned runs in each of his first 3 starts to begin 2025.
