Thursday’s MLB action began earlier today with an afternoon affair in the Motor City, but there are still a handful more games on tap for this evening! One of the more exciting matchups of the day features the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox, with first pitch scheduled for 8:10 p.m. EST.

Not counting the All-Star Game, we have cashed five tickets in this article, narrowly missed 18 winners, and had 15 tickets seemingly dead on arrival. Playing longshot parlays each day, these results are within the parameters of what is expected.

In this article, we never post a ticket with shorter than +700 odds, meaning that we only need to hit once each week to be profitable, which we have achieved to date. Overall, these plays are 60-50-1 (55.0%) if played as straight wagers, many of which have been significant alt-lines, even as individual tickets.

Below, we break down our favorite longshot (+800) look for July 27, focusing on today’s matchup between the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox!

MLB Parlay Piece for July 26, 2023

Chicago White Sox Moneyline (-115)

The Chicago White Sox have a significant travel advantage in this matchup, due to the fact that they played at home yesterday while the Cleveland Guardians were two states over. Following the trade of Amed Rosario to the Los Angeles Dodgers, there could also be somewhat of a hangover effect in the Cleveland locker room, leading to a dispirited effort from the road team in this spot. Expect Chicago to take care of business in tonight’s series opener.

Jose Ramirez 3+ Total Bases (+230)

In his last 27 road games, Jose Ramirez has amassed at least three total bases eight times. Tonight, he gets to face Dylan Cease, who has been vulnerable to the extra-base hit when facing left-handed batters in 2023. Entering play on Thursday, Cease has allowed 19 extra-base hits across the platoon this year. A two-hit night from Cleveland’s best hitter should get the job done here.

Tanner Bibee 4+ Strikeouts (-900)

In his last six turns through the rotation, Tanner Bibee is a perfect 6-for-6 at this market number. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against the Chicago White Sox, which rank 22nd in strikeout percentage against right-handed pitching during the month of July. According to props.cash, the White Sox have struck out at least four times against each of the last 13 starting pitchers they have faced – this is an easy inclusion in today’s longshot parlay.
