GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS
7:15 AM ET: We are looking at a shockingly light news day for Friday’s six-game slate. The Situation Room looks about as skimpy as I’ve seen all season, notwithstanding slates that are like two or three games.
Of course, it is the NBA, so we are never truly out of the woods until a game has locked. To get things started, let’s talk about the back-to-back situation like we normally do. We only have one team on the second leg of a B2B tonight, and it just so happens to be the team that was the talk of yesterday’s slate.

Brooklyn Nets: So yeah, Brooklyn pretty much punted the game last night in Milwaukee, as they sat all of Nic Claxton, Spencer Dinwiddie, Cameron Johnson, Royce O’Neale, and Ben Simmons. Then, once the game actually started, their main guys (i.e. Mikal Bridges, Seth Curry, Joe Harris, Dorian Finney-Smith) barely played.
