GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS
8:30 AM ET: We have a medium-sized six-game slate to tip things off this week. Let’s start things off by looking at the lone team on the second night of a back-to-back tonight to see what we might be expecting when their injury report gets released later today.
Houston Rockets: The Rockets actually had a clean injury report for last night’s loss against the Pelicans; the only players they didn’t have were some G-Leaguers. Of course, they have little interest in winning games at this point in the season, so it’s possible we see some names added to their report later today. Jae’Sean Tate, for one, hasn’t played in both legs of a back-to-back all season, so he’s the most likely. Kevin Porter (40.25), Jalen Green (39.25), and Jabari Smith (38) all played massive minutes last night, which makes them rest candidates too I suppose.
The Rockets host the Warriors tonight in a game that tips off at 8:00 PM ET, which is one hour after the slate locks.
