Yesterday was a heavy day here at RotoGrinders. It broke my heart, as layoffs across all branches of our parent company resulted in a handful of friends and colleagues being let go. They will certainly be missed, but like we always do at RG, we will dust ourselves off and will be as motivated as ever. We very much appreciate our premium subscribers and will continue to provide you with the best content possible. Stick with us…we aren’t going anywhere.
Rather than my usual anecdotal introduction, I want to focus on the games. We have a lot to cover, as there are 22 teams in action this evening. DraftKings and FanDuel have different-sized slates, as there are 8 games on the DraftKings main slate and 11 games on the FanDuel main slate. Let’s dive into the slate.

Team Previews
Atlanta Hawks (at WAS)
The Hawks put up 119 points in this matchup on Monday night and should be one of the top teams to target once again. Onyeka Okongwu is expected back, and D’Andre Hunter is questionable once again, while Dyson Daniels, Vit Krejci, and Bogdan Bogdanovic have all been ruled out. Once again, the Hawks have one of the highest team totals on the slate, as Washington is 6th in pace and 27th in defensive rating this season. Trae Young (1.40 DK / 1.30 FD) has a massive usage rate (31%) and an elite matchup against Jordan Poole. Zaccharie Risacher wasn’t great in his first spot-start, but he did log 25 minutes and should be lower-owned compared to Monday’s slate. David Roddy could have some appeal if Hunter is unable to suit up. With Okongwu back, Clint Capela will return to his 20-22 minute role. Jalen Johnson set season highs in usage (25%) and fantasy points (58) in this matchup on Monday night.
