NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, December 13
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Anthony Davis (FD) / Joel Embiid (DK)
Dean78904: Anthony Davis
tcsmith031: Anthony Davis
TJ Zwarych: Anthony Davis
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry contests. On FanDuel, I want to keep my options open for the late games. It’s early, but Jamal Murray and Deandre Ayton are both listed as questionable. We are unlikely to know their status before lineups lock. If they are out, having flexibility could be key to the slate. On DraftKings, I want to be overweight on Joel Embiid.
Dean78904: My main focus will be single-entry and smaller-field contests. Ideally, I’d love to have one of Anthony Davis or Nikola Jokic in every lineup I make, but if we don’t have injury news to help loosen up the salary cap, I’m not sure if I’ll force it. My general instinct is to build stars/scrubs, but I suspect I’ll end up with more balanced builds.

tcsmith031: I’ll roll with a mix of single-entry and 20-max GPPs tonight. I plan to be under the field on Anthony Davis, who projects to be a popular spend with LeBron James out. The Lakers are 9-point underdogs in Minnesota though, and AD’s popularity could mean other high-end centers – like Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic – could go overlooked. I’ll be over the field on both of the expensive alternatives to Davis.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll just be playing one lineup, with Nikola Jokic being my main focus. I’ll fade the chalky Lakers and try to play a lot of Hornets, Bulls, and Cavs alongside him.
