NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, May 10
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Josh Hart
squirrelpatrol: Josh Hart
eys819: Josh Hart
Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
Notorious: Rudy Gobert – This game isn’t garnering nearly as much pOWN% as the first game, and Gobert specifically is certainly flying under the radar. The stories from the first 2 games in this series have been Minnesota’s defense, Anthony Edwards getting compared to Michael Jordan, and Naz Reid playing great basketball on both ends of the floor. After missing Game 2 to be there for the birth of his child, Gobert is going to be an afterthought tonight. He’s affordable and provides a nice floor/ceiling combination at middling projected ownership.
squirrelpatrol: Anthony Edwards – Edwards’ median projection doesn’t get him into top lineups, and he’s priced in a difficult range with Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton. But Edwards has put up over 56 DK points in 4 of his last 6 games, and he’s averaging 36.5 real-life points over his last 4 games. If Denver keeps this game close and Minnesota needs Edwards’ scoring, he can be the top fantasy scorer on the slate.
eys819: Michael Porter – With Jamal Murray banged up and struggling with his shot, the Nuggets need another source of scoring outside of Nikola Jokic. MPJ is the top candidate to help out in that area. He has averaged just 12.5 shot attempts in the first 2 games of the series, but I would not be surprised to see that number tick up here in Game 3. He also contributes in the rebounding and stocks department, so he has a nice ceiling if we get an uptick in shot volume.
