What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer single-entry and small-field tournaments. On DraftKings, I am looking to save salary at CPT in order to get a more balanced lineup. Jrue Holiday, Al Horford, and Dereck Lively are all in consideration for me at CPT. On FanDuel, I am going to take some chances with Tim Hardaway at UTIL.
squirrelpatrol: I’ll play the largest-field contests and will have different strategies depending on the site. On DraftKings, I’ll be prioritizing the mid-range of the salary scale for the CPT spot, players like Al Horford and Jrue Holiday. On FanDuel, I’ll be prioritizing Luka Doncic in the MVP and PRO spots, but I’ll be reaching for some value plays, like Dante Exum and Sam Hauser.
headChopper: I am going to play 20 lineups in the large-field GPPs with big prize pools. Sadly, I feel like I’m pot committed at this point to Luka Doncic in the CPT/MVP spot. It was close the first 2 games but a disaster in Game 3. If I bail on it now — and he has a monster game, hits the optimal, and I didn’t play it — then I would not forgive myself. So, I am locking him in again in the top spot.
eys819: Large Field – I still want heavy exposure to Luka Doncic at CPT/MVP, even though he hasn’t had that signature explosion game. I prefer going down to Jrue Holiday and Derrick White for my Celtics CPT/MVP exposure over the more expensive Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Dereck Lively and Al Horford are players I will be overweight on as well.
kmurray03: Large Field – I’ll be using SimLabs to gain an advantage on the field, and I want to make sure that my exposure on Derrick White is higher than his projected ownership.
