NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, April 25
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Krayton: Anthony Edwards
TJ Zwarych: Anthony Edwards
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: Single-entry and 20-max GPPs for me today. I plan to pay up for either Shai Gilgeous-Alexander or Nikola Jokic in most of my lineups. I think SGA is in a terrific spot today given his incredible usage (34.6%) and per-minute production (1.6 DK) with Jalen Williams off the floor, and I think there’s a decent chance he plays 35+ minutes in what could be a competitive game on the road. In non-SGA builds, I’d like to get all the way up to Jokic. The Nuggets are staring down the barrel of a 3-1 series deficit if they lose tonight, and I expect Jokic to take a much more aggressive approach offensively than he’s taken through the first 3 games against Rudy Gobert.
Krayton: I will be playing just one lineup in single-entry contests tonight. Like TJ, I will be overweight on my Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets. This is a huge game on the line for Denver with Minnesota up 2-1. Their total is at 229, which is the highest on the slate, and this game has the closest spread. Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid are players I am building around, and I will be mixing in other pieces from this game.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I’m going to load up on the Minnesota vs. Denver game. It’s a must-win spot for Denver with a high total and a close spread, and both of these teams are my top targets on the slate. I’ll mostly ignore DET/ORL, and I’ll fill my lineups with pieces from the other games.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
