What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll likely stick with 20-max tournaments. On such a small slate, rolling the dice on some risky cheap plays is viable. AJ Green and Gary Trent are a couple of super-cheap shooters who could play their way into a few extra minutes if their shots are falling. I’m also fine taking some shots on a $5,100 Brook Lopez, who’s likely to fly under the radar amid his recent struggles.
Krayton: Even though it’s a 2-game slate, I will be playing single-entry tournaments, as I was able to find 1-2 lower-owned plays earlier in the week that helped me take down the Monster on FD, and one of those plays was Bobby Portis. He will be very popular on DK at just $5,500. However, on FD, he is priced up at $6,800, and he is a player I will be overweight on once again. I actually faded Giannis Antetokounmpo earlier this week, and although he is a scary fade on a 2-game slate, this is a great way to get on a different build than the field by targeting a handful of the upper and mid-tier guys instead, such as Portis, Jalen Johnson, Jalen Williams, and Damian Lillard.
TJ Zwarych: On a 2-game slate, I’ll be sticking to 1 lineup that stacks up the ATL/MIL game while trying to get as little exposure to HOU/OKC as possible. My goal is to spend up for both Trae Young and Giannis Antetokounmpo and hope this one stays close and is high scoring.

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
