What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: This is a great slate for large-field tournaments, so that’s what I’ll be doing. I expect the Kevin Durant / Giannis Antetokounmpo double-spend build to be a popular one, but there are plenty of ways to get different. Karl-Anthony Towns is projected for very little ownership despite a smash matchup against the Pelicans, while a balanced build is going to be naturally contrarian.

Krayton: This is shaping up to be a great slate, and I will continue to play single-entry tournaments along with the 20-entry max on DK tonight. I will be locking in Scotty Pippen and Jaime Jaquez, as they are two of the best values, and then I will look to get guys like Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, Anfernee Simons, and Trae Young in my builds to get just a little bit different. KAT is one of my favorite tournament plays.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments. It’s undeniable that MEM/ATL is the best game environment on the slate, with a high total, close spread, and some of the best value plays. I’m not going to fade the game by any means, but I will be under the field overall, particularly on the expensive pieces. I’ll target games that start later and look for late swap opportunities.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be running 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, and I plan to hit the lock button on a few key value pieces. I’ll have 100% of both Jaime Jaquez and Scotty Pippen, and I’ll mix and match stars while game-stacking MEM/ATL as much as possible.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
