What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll probably stick with 3-max and 20-max stuff tonight, as 4 of the 6 games have spreads of at least 8 points. It’s tough to imagine the Wizards keeping their game against the Nuggets competitive, but Washington has so many injuries that I’ll still have a hard time avoiding the value pieces. Carlton Carrington should see enough playing time to potentially pay off affordable salaries. I don’t hate the idea of coming in slightly over the field on Jordan Poole either. If the Wiz do manage to keep it close, it’s likely because Poole kept the offense afloat.
Krayton: I will be focusing on single-entry contests as well as the 20-entry max on DK. I like getting multiple pieces from NYK, as Jalen Brunson is questionable, and Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, Miles McBride, and OG Anunoby all make for great plays if Brunson is out. Even if Brunson plays, I will still be looking at Hart and Bridges, as they continue to get big minutes even in blowout games. Hart has gone for over 40 fantasy points multiple times this year already. I like the idea of building around 2 Knicks players tonight.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments. This is a pretty natural stars-and-scrubs slate with some reasonable value and really strong pay-up options. Most of my lineups will probably fall in line with the natural build. With that said, I am going to limit myself to 3 Wizards in any lineup and generally try to be underweight on the Wizards-Nuggets game. It’s going to be very popular, and I think there’s a pretty good chance it blows out to the extent the starters only play 3 quarters. With games starting an hour later, I’ll hold off and hope I can late swap onto some value that opens up.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, looking to play as many studs as I can in every single lineup. I love the idea of pairing Luka and Jokic together, and I think it’s viable to get a 3rd star like Towns, Barnes, or Tatum with them as well. I’ll be overweight on the Washington value, playing at least 2 Wizards in every single lineup.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
