What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll stick with a few single-entry GPPs. There’s a lot to like on the high end tonight, yet the pieces in the game with the highest total (OKC-MEM) aren’t projected to be popular. These are fast-paced teams with elite offenses, and I love the idea of correlating pieces on both sides at what should be limited ownership. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jaren Jackson Jr. are a couple of expensive plays on which I plan to be over the field.
Krayton: I will be sticking my usual single-entry contests on both sites tonight. So far, midday ownership projections seem to be fairly spread out. I am looking to utilize 2-3 higher priced guys who aren’t projected for big ownership, such as Karl-Anthony Towns, Nikola Jokic, and Jalen Brunson. Naz Reid is a core play of mine tonight, and I like the idea of building around both him and Dyson Daniels or Trae Young to get exposure to ATL in a great matchup against WAS.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments. This is a large slate with some impactful pieces still up in the air. Players need to be cleared to play with new teams for the first time, and there are several big Q tags. If some of the later Q tags (Edwards, Murray, Porter Jr., etc.) remain undecided when lock comes, I’ll push more of my players to the later window for potential late-swap opportunities.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups tonight in large-field contests. My plan to play as much Atlanta, Washington, Golden State, OKC, and Denver as possible. There’s not a ton of cheap value to feel good about outside of the center position early in the day, but I’ll still do my best to get up to low-owned spends like Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
