What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: I generally stick to single-entry tournaments on small slates. If we don’t get Deandre Ayton news before the early games lock, I plan to keep at least 2 roster spots open in the late game so I can pivot if he’s out. Coming in over the field on Donovan Clingan has major payoff potential given the lack of cheap value elsewhere. Clingan is still cheap enough to be playable even if Ayton plays, especially on DraftKings where he’s only $3,100.

Krayton: I will be sticking with my usual single-entry tournaments on this small slate. I will be overweight on Donte DiVincenzo in the Minnesota game, and I will be saving a couple of spots for the Deandre Ayton news, as I will be locking in Donovan Clingan, especially on DK with his $3,100 price tag. I also like lower-owned plays like Shaedon Sharpe and Immanuel Quickley that will be overlooked.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – We have limited options on a very small slate, so I’ll be leaning into players who are lower owned but have volatile minutes (along with a lot of the better chalk).

TJ Zwarych: I’ll just be playing one lineup in single-entry contests tonight, and while everyone is flocking to Anthony Edwards, I want to play the Minnesota ancillary pieces instead. Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid is one of my favorite pairings on the slate, and I’ll use it to save salary to pay up for Cade Cunningham.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
