What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single entry tonight. With most of the major Q tags on players in the late games (LeBron James, Fred VanVleet, James Harden), I plan to keep as many roster spots open as possible through the early games to retain some flexibility. With 4 of the 6 games tipping at 8:30 PM ET or later, I’ll have enough viable alternatives still available even if the news doesn’t break my way.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests tonight on both sites, and I like the idea of locking in both Anthony Davis and LeBron James and then filling in from there. Both have very high upsides, and we may end up with a decent amount of value. This is a slate where we still have many Q tags, and it’s one where I will be leaving spots available for the news on those Q tags.
TJ Zwarych: I’m only playing one lineup tonight, and although I’d love to backload my lineup and be ready for late swap, my favorite games to target are the first two of the slate, starting right at 7pm. I’ll be stacking NOP/SAS as well as MEM/WAS, as both games project to be fast paced and without much defense played.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
