What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll take a shot on some 20-max contests. The question dominating this slate will be: “How many Thunder is too many Thunder?” While they’re incredible values thanks to the matchup against the Wizards, I’d still be reluctant to play more than 4 OKC pieces in the same GPP lineup. I’m particularly concerned about playing the low-usage secondary pieces into high ownership, so I don’t mind rolling the dice on pivots from other teams, including Max Strus, Nick Richards, Day’Ron Sharpe, and Kyle Filipowski.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry tournaments along with the 20-entry max on DK. With OKC checking in as the top team to target with their matchup against WAS, I like pivoting from SGA in tournaments to guys like LaMelo Ball instead and then loading up on other OKC players such as Jalen Williams, Cason Wallace, Lu Dort, and Kenrich Williams. SGA is going to be one of the higher-owned studs to pay up for, and as much as I like him, I think pivoting to LaMelo is a great GPP strategy.
TJ Zwarych: OKC and BKN stand out as the top options for value on the slate, and I’m not going to be shying away from the cheap chalk plays in my single-entry lineup. However, while the field gravitates to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the expensive Cavs in great spots, I plan to stack up Lamelo Ball and Devin Booker in the late night hammer.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
