NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, March 29
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Deni Avdija
Krayton: Deni Avdija
TJ Zwarych: Deni Avdija
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll focus on single-entry GPPs again. It’s hard to avoid the Blazers in such a smash spot against the Wizards, but I’m not super comfortable playing shaky cheapies like Sidy Cissoko or Matisse Thybulle into a lot of ownership. Without many superstars on this slate, I am comfortable with a more balanced build that doesn’t require diving for some of the volatile sub-$4,000 plays. I’d like to anchor my lineups with Deni Avdija and one of Alperen Sengun or Amen Thompson.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests on both sites. Even though Portland will likely be popular, I will be focused on building around Deni Avdija and Jrue Holiday (on FD) in an elite matchup against Washington. I also want plenty of exposure to Houston and will be looking to get Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun, or Kevin Durant into my single-entry lineup.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, and I’ll be building in the middle range quite heavily. I don’t love most of the cheap value, but there’s a plethora of mid-range plays I want to get overweight on, such as Reed Sheppard and Devin Carter, with Deni Avdija being the most expensive player I get to tonight.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
