What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. My plan of attack tonight is to buy low on the Grizzlies. They haven’t been competitive in the first 2 games of the series and are now underpriced on both sites. If they want to have any chance in this series, they have to win Game 3.

headChopper: I’m running multiple lineups in large-field GPPs. There are plenty of ways to get different on this slate, and my favorite is spending up on Nikola Jokic and/or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Early projected ownership on both is surprisingly low. I want to mix-and-match my rosters with some high-end stars and a few cheaper role players who are heading back home for Game 3 of their series.

tcsmith031: I’ll roll the dice in MME with also a few single-entry builds. It’s always scary, but I’m again planning on coming in under the field on Nikola Jokic. On a slate with questionable cheap value, it’s hard to build a lineup with Jokic that doesn’t require at least a couple of risky cheap plays. I’ll focus primarily on balanced builds, which are easier to cobble together with several other stars – like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Ja Morant, and Cade Cunningham – looking a bit underpriced.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Ja Morant – It doesn’t feel good saying Morant when the Grizzlies have lost the first 2 games by 70 points combined, but they will put all of their eggs in tonight’s Game 3 basket.
