NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday, February 12
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: LeBron James
headChopper: LeBron James
TJ Zwarych: LeBron James
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I will be playing in small-field tournaments. I get the sense that very few will be looking to the Thunder tonight, even though they are going to be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Ajay Mitchell. They still have a high team total and are playing at home, so I like the idea of being overweight on them in tournaments. Aaron Wiggins is my favorite, but I will also take some shots on Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace.
headChopper: Tonight, I prefer a single lineup in small-field GPPs. It’s a small slate, so it’s tough to fade too much, but I will be underweight on some of the higher-pOWN% veterans who project modestly—guys like Jrue Holiday and Jerami Grant, for example. I also want to go light on the first game (MIL/OKC) because I don’t love it anyway, and I think we could get news that changes builds much later in the night, since there is a full 90 minutes between Game 1 and Game 2.
TJ Zwarych: I typically prefer running 150 lineups in large-field GPPs, but with no spend-ups on tonight’s slate more expensive than Deni Avdija, I’m more interested in playing small-field contests, particularly in single entry. I’ll make sure to have Avdija and LeBron James both since there’s so much value.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
