What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I love single-entry and small-field tournaments. I plan to eat the chalk with LeBron James. Anthony Davis was traded, and Luka Doncic isn’t ready to make his team debut. We have LeBron projected for over 60 fantasy points, so he’s an easy starting point. As far as differentiating, I’d like to get some exposure to the Wolves in their tough matchup. Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo have already been ruled out, while Mike Conley could rest on the back-to-back.

headChopper: I’ll be playing 5-entry-max contests and hand-building 5 lineups. My initial look at the slate and early pOWN% has me wanting to go underweight on some of the Golden State chalk—fine for cash games, but I’d rather look elsewhere in GPPs. Instead, I’ll be overweight on Domantas Sabonis, Franz Wagner, and Anfernee Simons, as their pOWN% looks lower, and I see a clear path to strong performances.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field GPPs. There are 5 teams playing on the back half of a back-to-back, with 4 of them yet to file an injury report. This is in addition to today being the trade deadline (3:00 PM ET). As always, I will pay attention to the news flow and anticipate it being more relevant than most days. All that aside, I’m currently targeting a GSW/LAL game stack as the core of my main lineup.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
