What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I will be playing small-field tournaments. Rather than picking between Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, my plan is to target both. Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic are both expected to miss this game, yet the Suns still have a team total that is 9 points higher than their season average.
headChopper: I am building one lineup tonight and entering it in mostly single-entry GPPs, with a sprinkle of large-field GPPs in case I hit the nuts. I’m not shying away from the chalk on the Thunder or Phoenix, as both look like strong plays. My differentiation will come from targeting players flying under the radar—like taking advantage of the Clippers on a back-to-back with Kawhi Leonard potentially limited due to injury (though is expected to sit).
Dean78904: My main focus is single-entry and small-field tournaments. I expect to have at least one of Devin Booker or Kevin Durant in every lineup I make. I won’t stop there with the Suns, as they have the perfect storm of a great matchup and meaningful players out (namely Bradley Beal and newly acquired Nick Richards). This will lead me to consider cheapies like Tyus Jones, Oso Ighodaro, Ryan Dunn, and Royce O’Neale. Conversely, I’m seeing some Blazers project really well currently. As things look right now, I expect to be collectively under the field on Portland.
