What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I like the idea of being overweight on two teams in less than ideal matchups. The Bulls square off against the Heat but are without Zach LaVine after the trade. The Lakers square off against the Clippers but are without Anthony Davis after the trade.

headChopper: I am playing single-entry and 5-entry max contests tonight. With so much movement over the last few days—trades, injuries, and now back-to-backs for the Rockets—I want to take advantage of the uncertainty and try to get ahead of the field by going against the grain. After a tough stretch of road games and playing on a back-to-back, I’m looking to target a bench scorer like Cam Whitmore, who could benefit if Houston eases up on its veterans.

tcsmith031: I will be playing a single-entry and 20-max strategy tonight. Stacking pieces from the Heat side of the MIA/CHI game looks like a popular approach early in the day, but the Bulls’ side isn’t attracting as much attention. Miami isn’t quite as imposing defensively without Jimmy Butler, and the Chicago pieces are still priced reasonably for their roles without the departed Zach LaVine. I’ll have a rule set up in LineupHQ that will jam at least one Bulls player into lineups that feature at least 2 Miami players.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
