NBA DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, May 28

DRAFTKINGS

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Luka Doncic, Anthony Edwards, Daniel Gafford
squirrelpatrol: Luka Doncic, Naz Reid, Kyrie Irving
headChopper: Luka Doncic, Anthony Edwards, Kyrie Irving

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: While Maxi Kleber will be back in action tonight, it’s worth noting that Daniel Gafford played 22 of the 32 minutes after Dereck Lively went down with his injury. Gafford has averaged 1.17 DK / 1.23 FD points per minute this season and has a path to minutes in the high-20s.

squirrelpatrol: With minutes tightening in the playoffs, pricing differences between the sites are becoming critical. Maxi Kleber is expected to play for the first time this series. He is $1,000 cheaper on FanDuel than any other rotation player on either team. On DraftKings, we have a number of rotation players within $1,000 of the minimum-priced Kleber: Kyle Anderson, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Josh Green, and Jaden Hardy.

headChopper: This series has been chalky and very difficult to win DFS contests by getting different. Here are the results in this series from the featured large-field contest on DK ($20 entry fee). The optimal lineup in Game 1 tied for 1st place with 36 entries. In Game 2, no one played the actual optimal lineup, but the next-best lineup tied for 1st place with 9 entries. And then in Game 3, we saw the optimal lineup tie for 1st place with 71 entries.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
