NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, February 11

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: LaMelo Ball (FD) / Nikola Jokic (DK)
Dean78904: LaMelo Ball
ncorfield8k: Brandon Miller (FD) / Nikola Jokic (DK)

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. This is an absolutely wild slate, and we are going to have injury news that filters in throughout the day. It’s hard to have any strong takes hours before lock because so much can change from now until then. However, I’m planning to roll out a stars-and-scrubs lineup on DK that is anchored around Nikola Jokic. He’s a great play in his own right, and he makes it easy to get exposure to all of the elite value plays.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and small-field contests. As a general thought, I’m more confident in the cheapies than the studs tonight. More specifically, I like the big cheapies (e.g. Day’Ron Sharpe, Kel’el Ware, Micah Potter, Maxime Raynaud on DK, etc.). I expect to play as many centers as possible, and when given the choice, I’d first play them at PF if possible. I’m not happy about it, but this will likely shut me out from rostering Nikola Jokic on DK. I’m certainly happy to land on Jokic, but I just don’t expect to get to him on my main lineup right now. I expect to have at least one Hornet in every lineup.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – On such a large slate, right before the All-Star Break, I’ll be on high alert and ready to pivot as we get NBA starting lineups released and injury news. I suspect I’ll be overweight on Nikola Jokic on DraftKings, as he is easy to fit with all of the great cheap value. I won’t play much Micah Potter, as he isn’t a great fantasy producer and his pOWN% (as of early afternoon) is excessive on a slate with so much value.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
