What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. There aren’t a lot of exciting spots on the board, so I’m going to be overweight on the Thunder. They are going to be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Isaiah Hartenstein, and Alex Caruso. Even in a tough matchup against the Spurs, the Thunder are by far the top team to target for value.
Dean78904: I mostly concentrate on single-entry and smaller-field type contests. We are at the mercy of multiple teams not yet filing an injury report, and tomorrow’s trade deadline is looming. NBA slates are always fluid, but this one is more fluid than most, as we’ll get some chaos in the next 24 hours. We also have 3 games that start at least 2.5 hours after the slate locks. I expect Kawhi Leonard to be a foundational piece on my teams, and I’ll likely end up with at least one Grizzly on every team (in part because they play late and offer roster flexibility if necessary).
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – As of right now, in the early afternoon, this slate doesn’t have a lot of great value, so it appears to be more of a “balanced” slate than a stars-and-scrubs slate. However, there are many games and many Q tags, and the trade deadline is tomorrow. I will live at my computer until the final game locks. This is a fantastic slate for late swap.
